Frank Wallace Delphin Gyre Music
Based in the U.S. Frank Wallace has made several recordings for guitar, lute and he is also an accomplished vihuelist. Together with his wife Nancy Knowles they made wonderful recordings for guitar and soprano in the Duo Live Oak. On Delphin Frank plays 35 solo pieces on a vihuela de mano. This instrument is a combination between a guitar and a lute and tuned as a lute.
Frank plays compositions of Luis de Narváez , Alonso Mudarra, Luis Milan and Esteban Daza. All pieces are played with great skills and dedication.
The pieces are from introvert to extrovert with melancholic phrases. Frank Wallace excels in creating atmosphere with his excellent techniques.
